The steering adapters are a simple, lightweight, and effective solution to the limited steering angle of the Toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ.
Installation is straightforward — it involves removing the original components and bolting on our kit, with no permanent modifications required, allowing a return to stock setup at any time.
The adapters offer adjustable Ackermann angle and provide two steering angle settings:
- A smaller angle for use with the OEM control arm
- A larger angle for use with the custom CNC71 Mid Kit control arm
Installing the adapters increases steering angle, which is highly beneficial for drifting, time attack, and spirited driving. It also improves the vehicle’s responsiveness compared to the stock setup.
If you’ve found your way here, you likely already know that the factory steering angle is quite limited. We measured it — approximately 35 degrees on the leading wheel, and even less on the trailing one. Our solution allows for up to 50 degrees of steering angle.
You can always upgrade the steering adapter with the CNC71 Mid Kit control arm, tie rod relocator, and camber plates to achieve even better geometry and up to 60 degrees of steering angle.
