Description
CNC71 Motorsport halfshaft spacers for BMW TYPE 188 (6x M10 bolt pattern with assymetric spacing) with a thickness of 10 mm prevent increased stress on the halfshaft joints by bringing their operating point to the optimal position.
Big values of lowering the car and large camber values are the most important factors for increased wear on these components.
If you have a problem with twisting shafts, and your vehicle is significantly lowered and/or the rear wheels are set in negative camber, conduct a short test - unbolt the joints from the flanges in the differential, lower the car to the ground and see what distance will be created between the half-shaft and the flange. If it will be too large for the joints to work within the optimal range provided by the manufacturer, it is recommended to use a spacer.
The use of one 10 mm thick spacer require the replacement of bolts.
The product is made of aluminium and coated during anodizing process to assure corrosion ressistance.
