Stainless steel braided PTFE/Carbon hose with black nylon cover that is 100% reliable with ethanol and methanol. It has a very long lifetime with these aggressive fuels.
When mixed with carbon, the PTFE provides several benefits. It becomes much more wear resistant, the hose becomes anti-static and it has very good friction properties and becomes better thermal conductor which lowers fuel temperatures.
An anti-static hose is always recommended as the fuel can never ignite because static electricity.
